This site is hosted by Dr. Ivor Lensworth Livingston, who is the Editor -in-Chief of the  two widely acclaimed reference books, "Handbook on Black American Health: The Mosaic of Conditions, Issues, Policies and Prospects" (1994, 27 Chapters] and  The Praeger Handbook of Black American Health (2nd. Edition]: Policies and Issues Behind Disparities in Health" [2004, 47 Chapters].  

Apart from the numerous  scientific articles  Dr. Livingston has written on  stress, diseases and the health of African Americans, he has appeared  on talk-radio and television to discuss these and related issues.
